26th Annual Student Art Exhibition
The Annual Student Exhibition is a showcase of artwork created by Palm Beach
State College art students. The variety of work reflects the many art
disciplines instructed at Eissey Campus: ceramic, digital and traditional
photography, drawing, life drawing, applied and digital design, and painting.
The student work will also be available for purchase. There will be an Opening
Reception on Tuesday, April 10 from 5pm - 8pm in conjunction with an award
ceremony. Refreshments will be served. The exhibit
and reception are free and open to the public. Gallery hours are 9:00 a.m. -
5:00 p.m. Monday - Friday with extended hours on Tuesday until 8:00 p.m.

"Field of Colors" Exhibition
Award-winning, Israel born artist Zivi Aviraz showcases her mixed media acrylic
paintings. Zivi’s work seamlessly mixes the stern shapes of painted ceramic
tiles with softer media, integrating recycled and found materials into her
depictions of figures, flowers and cityscapes. This is a free and open to the

Career Options Workshop - PBG
This is a free 1.5 hour workshop for new and prospective students who are
uncertain about which program of study to take at Palm Beach State College. You
will take a career assessment, learn what programs are available and how to
relate your career interest to programs of study. Also take the opportunity to
easily research occupations and how to identify the next steps in planning your
future. You must have a current Palm Beach State application on file to attend.

Hare
Come see our local stars perform as The Missoula Children's Theatre returns to
the Dolly Hand Cultural Arts Center for its 18th annual production! As we see
the annual race between the Reptiles and the Mammals through the eyes of a TV
news team covering the event, we soon discover that there is more than a
sporting rivalry between the brown animals and the green animals. The wisdom of
the old tortoise and the lesson learned by the cocky hare remind us all that
"color is just a color - it's just decorated skin." In the end, the animals
realize the folly of their ways and live happily together in their sandy home.

Programs 2012 Flight Training Orientation
Attendance at one orientation session is MANDATORY for all incoming students
enrolled in: Professional Pilot A.S. Degree or Commercial Pilot College Credit
Certificate. The purpose of the orientation is to verify your documentation for
compliance with FAA and TSA regulations. In addition, we'll give an overview of
the training procedures and technologies used in the programs. You'll be able to
speak with faculty and ask questions. Before the session, please read the
Advisory Guide posted on our website (

sessions are free and from 4pm - 6pm.
