MTO0161 - Aromatherapy for the Massage Therapist

Course Description:
Aromatherapy or essential oil therapy is a branch of phytotherapy, the oldest therapy on earth. It is the science and usage of plant extracts for specific psychological, spiritual and physical well-being. Aromatherapy is a complementary therapy to that of massage, creating a powerful healing session for the client and continued benefits long after the client has left the treament room. In this experiential workshop we will discuss the powerful benefits of integrating essential oils into a massage practice. Prerequisite: Current licensure as a massage therapist.
