Employee Enagement and Retention
The mission of the Employee Engagement & Retention Council is to create an environment that values and supports employee engagement and retention by developing internal programs and events for Palm Beach State College.
On November 10, 2017, we honored 158 Full-Time and Part-Time Employees. Pictured above are the 2017 BRAVO! Winners, Allen Webber, Suzanne Duff and Wesley Wells.
The workshop that was facilitated last year focused on how to identify and establish connections with tapping into your communications skill by interviewing each other and sharing knowledge. The workshop was presented by Micheal Athmer of Human Capital.
35 Employees retired during the 2016/2017 year. Dinner was held at the Atlantis Country club on March 30, 2017. Pictured above is Dr. Jackie Roges, her husband David Roges and former supervisor, Ed Willey.
Administrative Professionals Day includes a workshop and luncheon. The event recognizes administrative professionals for their contribution to the workplace and enhances skills through the training seminar.

Recognition is based on length of service. Palm Beach State College recognizes the importance of the contributions of committed faculty and staff to the continuing success of the College.
The Bravo Award is an employee recognition program where specific actions that go above and beyond the call of duty and behaviors that embody the philosophy and mission of the College can be acknowledged.
Employees who retire from the College are given a retirement clock as appreciation for their dedication to the College. In addition, the Office of the President and the Office of Human Resources holds an annual Retirement Dinner. To join the College Retirees Association follow link the link, CRA.
