This is a Pre-Admission computer based test for Palm Beach State's Nursing Program.
Palm Beach State College requires a scheduled appointment to take the HESI A2 test, the mandatory assessment needed to apply to the RN program. Test appointments will be available on specific dates during each semester. Please check the test center appointment page for testing availability on Palm Beach State College campuses www.palmbeachstate.edu/testing See information, below, for an additional testing option at a Prometric Center.
Students are encouraged to complete step one of the HESI A2 Student Instructions process below, which is to create a Student Evolve Account.

HESI A2 Student Instructions
1. Create a Student Evolve Account - Test applicants set this test up with the vendor of the HESI A2, allowing them to access the HESI A2 test once they arrive in the Testing Center.
NOTE: If it is your second HESI A2 test administration, you will need to set up a new Student Evolve account through Elsevier.
*You will need an active Palm Beach State College student email account to register.*
BE SURE THAT YOUR STUDENT EMAIL ACCOUNT IS SET UP!

- Click on the

- Login/Register as a "New User"
- Enter all required information to create a new account
- Be sure to use your Palm Beach State College student email address
- Be sure to enter your Palm Beach State College Student ID in the optional student ID field
- An email with your user name and password will be sent to your student email account.
- This email will need to be printed and brought with you at the time of your test appointment.
** Students without an active Student Evolve Account will not be eligible to test**
2. Register for a HESI A2 Testing Appointment at Palm Beach State College
*Appointments are only available for Palm Beach State College Students*
The HESI A2 test may not be taken more than once during a six month period. Scores earned in a subsequent retake adminsitration with in 6 months will be invalidated.
If you register for the HESI A2 test within the same period of time, on more than one campus, the appointment system will notify the test center that you have already registered on another PBSC campus. Consequently, the appointment(s) will be cancelled.

3. How to pay for the HESI A2 test
- Payment must be made in person at a Palm Beach State College Cashier's Office
- There is a non-refundable fee of $45.00
- Go to the following page www.palmbeachstate.edu/Cashiers.xml to check the Cashier's Office hours of operations prior to traveling to campus.
4. Please note: If you are requesting an accommodation, you are required to contact the Disability Support Services Managers (on the campus where you will be taking the test) a minimum of two weeks prior to your testing date to request accommondations.
