Program Completions by Type
Palm Beach State College students completed almost 7,200 recognized degree and certificate programs in 2016-17. More than 3,600 of these were associate in arts (AA) degrees -- an increase of about 3% from the prior year.
In addition, 702 students completed associate degrees in vocational areas (AS and/or AAS). Baccalaureate awards continue to grow, with 372 students receiving their bachelor's degrees last year.
More than 2,400 others received certificates and other types of awards. College credit certificates (CCC) and postsecondary adult vocational certificates (PSAV) each accounted for more than 1,100 awards. The number of CCCs, in particular, has risen sharply in the last two years, as the college has begun to employ advanced methods to identify eligible students.
(Note: These numbers may change significantly if completers are submitted after Panorama is published. For the most up-to-date information on program completers, please see the 11-year program completions report, which is updated regularly.)
