For program eligibility, you will need to have obtained a valid Statement of Status of Eligibility (SOE) from the Florida Department of Education (FLDOE) and have earned a minimum 2.5 GPA in a non-education Bachelor degree.
To begin the process, please follow the steps below.
Step 1. Register and attend a Teacher Certification Program (TCP) Information Session.
Step 2. Complete a Palm Beach State College Credit Application.
Step 3. Complete a self-assessment of Florida Educator Accomplished Practices (also available at the information session).
If you have an SOE, proceed to Steps 4 and 5 below.
Step 4. Complete and submit a TCP Online Application.
Step 5. Submit the completed Entrance Packet.
