Property and Casualty/General Lines Agent (2.20)
This 200-hour PSAV program is designed to prepare students to take the State of Florida licensing examination for the property casualty general lines, in preparation for the position of general lines agent. Topics include automobile, fire allied lines, general liability, homeowner's insurance, crime surety, worker's compensation, inland ocean marine, aviation and boiler machinery. Course content includes development of communication, critical thinking, human relations and employability skills.
Life, Health, and Variable Annuities Agent (2.15)
Important notice: The number of credit hours for the 2.15 license will change from 40 hours to 60 hours (Effective July 1,2015). We will be scheduling the 60 hour version of the course as soon as the Florida Department of Financial Services has approved it.
Accredited Claims Adjuster Designation (ACA) (6.20)
This 40-hour PSAV program is designed to prepare students to work in an insurance office as an accredited claims adjuster. This program is approved by the Florida Department of Insurance as a pre-licensing requirement for obtaining a ACA 5.20 or 6.20 Insurance License. This course is required for the public adjuster apprentice (3.21) license. This course is a designated course. Students that complete this course successfully do not have to take a state exam.
Effective July 1, 2015 the Insurance Customer Service Representative course will no longer be offered at PBSC, due to newly passed State of Florida legislation. View other options for the 4.40 license.
