the assignment because I lost the instructions." Ready to get started? Here is a video
tutorial to show you how to set up your faculty home page. If you'd prefer one-on-one assistance, please contact Lisa MacMullen to schedule an appointment or stop by the Lake Worth PTLC.
Professional development credit for attending PTLC events
We offer several Lake Worth PTLC events each month during the fall and spring terms, and you can receive professional development credit for attending. It's simple to register for PTLC events on the Professional Development system. We hope to see you there soon!
Creating and Editing Your Syllabus
Faculty create their syllabi online using our syllabus creator tool. You enter your content, then the tool creates and posts your syllabus on your faculty webpage.
A number of resources are available to show you how to use the syllabus creator tool.
In addition to the online Faculty Syllabi Creator Tool Tutorials,
- Lisa MacMullen, PTLC Specialist, is available to assist and train you in the Lake Worth PTLC
- Lisa Gustinelli, Innovation and Instructional Technology Director, can arrange to work with you on any PBSC campus. Ms. Gustinelli is also available to consult with faculty about new technologies to enhance their courses.
Many department chairs are also available to walk their faculty through the process of creating or editing their syllabi.
>>Click here to view the due date for posting your syllabi online each term.
What grading software is available?
Please use Grade Center, the online gradebook available through BlackBoard, which your students can also access online.
To use Grade Center, please ask your area's administrative assistant to add a "GB" special designator to your class(es) in PantherNet. Then log into Blackboard at www.palmbeachstate.edu/eLearning with the same userid and password you use for College email, and your course(s) will await you there.
Is training available? Yes! There are faculty tutorials for Grade Center and more.
Individual training is also available - please check our eLearning department's Blackboard Workshops list
for any Gradebook/SafeAssign Only workshops or contact eLearning directly. New workshops are added at least monthly.
