Recruitment and Dual Enrollment

studentsThe Department of Recruitment and Dual Enrollment is dedicated to informing the community of the degree, non-degree and certificate programs offered at Palm Beach State College by attending community events, special programs and conducting presentations at Palm Beach County high schools. Our services include:

Campus Tours are offered at all four campuses (Lake Worth, Palm Beach Gardens, Boca Raton and Belle Glade) Monday thru Friday (excluding holidays). The FREE tours are led by Palm Beach State Student Ambassadors, who represent a cross-section of the College's students.

College Reach-Out Program (CROP) was established to motivate and prepare qualified students in grades 6 through 12 to pursue and successfully complete a postsecondary education. CROP services are FREE to all participants.

Dual Enrollment enables qualified students in the 10th, 11th and 12th grades to enroll in approved academic and vocational courses offered through Palm Beach State College. The credits that students earn count toward both a high school diploma and a college degree or vocational certificate. Dual enrollment courses are FREE to students who attend a Florida public college or university.

Fast Break is a summer scholarship program at Palm Beach State College. This program provides graduating high school seniors and GED recipients in Palm Beach County an opportunity to enroll in a free college credit course. College credits earned can be transferred and includes FREE books, FREE tuition, and FREE tutoring.

High School Student One-Stop is a resource that shows in a quick glance the programs Palm Beach State specifically offers for high school students and helpful links within the College website.

Summer Bridge is a summer scholarship program at Palm Beach State College. This program provides graduating high school seniors and GED recipients in Palm Beach County an opportunity to enroll in a college preparatory course or Strategies for College Success (SLS1501).
