Allison Wood is originally from Orange County, California and has six sisters and one brother. She received her bachelor's degree in Athletic Training from Brigham Young University in 2008. After graduation she did an internship with the BYU Women's Gymnastics and Women's Volleyball team and was the head athletic trainer for a professional arena football team, the Utah Valley Thunder.

She also has experience with the Justin Boots Sports Medicine, Dew Action Sports Tour Medical Staff, USA Taekwondo, AAU Taekwondo, and BYU Men's Ice Hockey.

Allie plans to go back to school for her master's degree in Athletic Training and eventually be the head athletic trainer at a D1 university.
