Admission to the Bachelor Degree Programs

 

Bachelor of Applied Science Degrees  - Information Management and Supervision &  Management

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor's Degree Programs in Information Management or Supervision & Management,  the student must have earned, at a minimum:

  • an A.S./A.A.S. or A.A. degree (or equivalent) from a regionally accredited institution/college with a minimum of 60 semester hours in a professional/technical field

OR

  •  *60 credit hours that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of an AA/AS or AAS degree (*credit hours must be awarded by a regionally accredited institution)

AND

  • have earned at least a 2.0 grade point average on a 4.0 point scale.
  • register and attend a mandatory Bachelor's Degree Programs Orientation session before acceptance into the  program.

Students in some cases will also have to meet the prerequisite requirements for each degree. Please see a Bachelor's Degree advisor for more information.

Student may apply by completing the regular college application and selecting the appropriate Bachelor Degree program code objective (click here).

Bachelor of Science in Nursing

To be eligible for admission to the Bachelor of Science in Nursing, the student must have earned, at a minimum:

  • an A.S./A.A.S. degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited institution/college with a minimum of 60 hours and a 2.5 grade point average.

AND

  • Current Florida Licensure in Nursing.

Please Note:

  • Students will also have to meet the common prerequiste courses as defined by the State of Florida for the BSN degree.

Transfer of Credit

To be eligible for credit hour articulation, students must have earned at least 60 credit semester hours in their A.S./A.A.S./A.A. degree program and at least 15 credit semester hours must be in transferable general education courses in which the student received a “C” or higher.  The student must present official transcripts from all higher education institutions attended indicating the coursework and the degree awarded.
