2012 SEASON BEGINS JANUARY, 27TH.
The Panther Softball team finished their first weekend of the 2012 season with a 2-3 record at the JUCO Kickoff Classic. The Panthers defeated Abraham Baldwin (12-2) and St. Pete (8-2) while losing to Gulf Coast (12-0), Daytona State (7-6) and Illinois Central (5-2).Palm Beach was led by sophomore Chelsea Neal who batted .470 (8-17) with 2 doubles, 1 HR, 7 RBI's, 5 stolen bases and 7 runs scored. Other top performers were Dee Trottie, .600 (6-10) and Sam Sgroi, 428 (6-14) with 4 RBI's. The Panthers are on the road again this weekend with double headers at South florida and State College of Florida
