The Community Haitian Creole program was developed in response to community needs from business, government and nonprofit agencies in Palm Beach County who want to expand and better serve their customer base. Community Haitian Creole classes use a non-academic approach to help you "jump-start" your language skills and quickly begin speaking frequently used words and phrases for routine personal and professional interactions. Taught by native speakers of Haitian Creole, the class introduces you to the Haitian culture and phonetic system. It gives you the tools to navigate greetings, introductions and personal information, routine communication strategies, emergency responses, directions, and of course, ordering in a Haitian restaurant!
