The Gay-Straight Alliance strives to instill a sense of pride and self-worth in GLBT people, promote better understanding between GLBT and non-GLBT communities, eliminate homophobia on campus and in the community, and mend the detrimental effects of hate, ignorance, and non-acceptance toward gay, lesbian, bisexual, and transgendered individuals. We recognize an obligation to educate, advocate, support, and serve. GSA provides students with oppotunities to join together to learn, volunteer, take action, and enhance their own lives while attending Palm Beach State College.
The Gay-Straight Alliance meets every Tuesday in Stage West at 3:30pm. (If there is a pre-scheduled event in Stage West then the meeting will be in TC 115).
We also offer professional group/private counseling.
