Greetings and welcome to Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus, Student Government Association (SGA)! I am Ariel Montalvo, your elected 2011-2012 President. I am proud to say that I have been an avid member of Student Government since my middle school years holding positions ranging from historian, to parliamentarian, to vice-president, and now, president. In continuing my involvement within SGA here at Palm Beach State College, I have had the privilege to go on leadership conferences and educational seminars that continue to help me progress as a student leader. I am currently in pursuit of an A.A. degree and hope to transfer to the University of Central Florida.

The Student Government Association, here at the Lake Worth Campus, works closely with the Administration, the Student Activity Center (SAC), the Inter Club Council (ICC), and the Wellness Center to help create a great experience for our students. As the chief representative of the students, it is my responsibility and the SGA's to listen to students' opinions and concerns, and to play the role of liaison in conveying those opinions and concerns to the College administration.

I encourage and invite you all to come by our office located within the SAC and to our Senate meetings in room SCC 154; Wednesday's weekly, beginning September 14, 2011 to find out about our events, volunteering opportunities, and to help grow your network with the best and brightest.  We look forward to meeting you!

Hello Palm Beach State College, my name is Max Michel and I am your 2011-2012 SGA Vice President. I was born in the Dominican Republic and raised in Florida; I graduated from Royal Palm Beach High School and will graduate from Palm Beach State College this spring. I am planning to go to Hampshire University in Massachusetts or the University of Florida. I'm planning to double major in criminology and psychology with a minor in business. My main goal is to diversify the Student Government Association and recruit as many members as I can.  I can't wait to start this New Year and meet new people. Hello Palm Beach State College my name is Keneisha Dale and I am proud and excited to be your 2011-2012 SGA Secretary. It is my job to keep records, help coordinate, plan, and be involved in events and meetings on and off campus. I was born and raised in Jamaica and I have been living in Florida for the past four years. My major is nursing and I will become the best neo-natal nurse there is. I have been attending Palm Beach State College for the past 2 years now and I am proud to say that I am a PTK member and also a member of the Honors College on campus. After achieving my goals at Palm Beach State I plan to transfer to UCF or FIU to advance my education. I will make it my priority to help and serve you all this year. Please do not hesitate to come to me with any concerns, problems, or questions; feel free to come to the office if you ever need my assistance. I promise I will try to help to the best of my knowledge and my ability. I am looking forward to meeting, working with, and getting to know you all.

Hello Palm Beach State College!! My name is Maryanna Ovalle and I am very proud to be your 2011-2012 SGA treasurer. My responsibilities in this position include maintaining accurate reports of income and expenditures. Also, I coordinate fundraising events that will help the community and SGA senators and members.  I was born and raised in Colombia. I have been living in the USA for four years. Currently, I am taking general business classes at Lake Worth Campus.  After finishing my AA, I will transfer to UCF or UF to pursue a career in Human Resources Management. One of my biggest dreams would be to work in Disney World.  Some activities that I really enjoy are watching history and reality shows and meeting people from different cultures. I am very excited to start working with the Palm Beach State College family!!

Hello everyone, my name is Anna Gallagher and I am proud to announce that I am your 2011-2012 Student Government Association parliamentarian. I have many goals with SGA this year to make it a huge and successful year. One of my main goals as parliamentarian is to make sure all members and senators understand the SGA constitution as well as Roberts Rules of Order, Newly Revised to maintain business etiquette, order, and proper procedures during all meetings.

 I am a psychology major and I am also minoring in business. I love helping and working with others and bringing the full potential out in everyone. I have been involved with student government as an active senator and committee chair at Palm Beach State College for two years and was the Phi Beta Lambda President for the 2010-2011 academic school year. It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to an exciting year full of opportunities, excitement, and excellence. I encourage and challenge each and every one of you to get involved in student government or the Inter Club-Council and make the most out of your college experience. Hello guys, my name is Ashley Osborne. I am the Legislative Liaison for the 2011-2012 school year.  I've been a member of SGA since I moved to Palm Beach State College in 2009. Hello students of Palm Beach State College. My name is Alexiou Gibson, and I am extremely thrilled to serve you all as your Social Media Executive! I strive to do my best to serve you and keep you abreast of what is going on at PBSC. My goal is to keep your Twitter, Facebook, Google, and all other social media network feeds completely updated. I will also bring entertainment to our senate meetings, through comedic videos and live footage of campus events.  I am currently studying engineering here at PBSC, and plan to attend the University of Massachusetts Amherst in the fall of 2012. Feel free to come to me for advice or anything you may need.
