Sharon Geltner Certified Business Analyst
Sharon Geltner has won awards for newspaper reporting, publicity, corporate communications, videography and online media campaigns. Her clients have appeared in the Wall Street Journal, MSNBC.com and Newsweek.com. The Society of Professional Journalists "favorited" Geltner's You Tube video, "The Fat Lady Has Not Sung: Why the Internet Needs the News," about how search engines rely on daily newspapers. She presented on a similar topic at the international conference of the Public Relations Society of America in Washington, D.C. Her journalism appreciation campaign, "Net Needs News Day," drew editorial cartoonists (including a 2009 Pulitzer Prize winner) to publish simutaneously on how new media needs old media. The event was covered by The Atlantic, Editor & Publisher and featured at the U. S. Embassy in Vienna.
Geltner has also e-published "Charity Bashed," a humorous mystery and satire about Palm Beach. She is the first digital author to speak before Palm Beach County library patrons. She serves on the boards of the Greater Boynton Beach Foundation and the South Florida Interactive Marketing Association. Last, Geltner is president of Froogle PR; an Internet marketing, online reputation management and SEO firm.
