 Get your flu shot and stay healthy! Blue Cross/Bue Shield Florida has enacted a zero copay for our PPO and HMO plans for the flue vaccine. Employees and their dependents on College's insurance plans , can simply present their insurance card at a participating pharmacy. If an employee receives a shot at a participating convenient care center such as "The Little Clinic" (Publix), "Minute Clinic" (Walgreens), etc., it is treated as a preventative service, not as a medical service which would normally require a $35 copay for the visit. Employees receiving the vaccine at their physician's office would be responsible for a copay for the visit or a service fee if the shot is administered by a non-participating clinic.
Most of the large pharmacies such as CVS, Kmart, Publix, Target, Walgreens and Winn Dixie are participating. Wal-Mart is not a participating provider. Blue Cross has a complete listing of participating pharmacies on their website.
