Ultimately the following circular model evolved to incorporate the holistic approach of Barbara Dossey with the Open Systems Model of Imogene King. Goal Attainment is synonymous with Wellness. Wellness of the caregiver and wellness of the person are both addressed within this model. A circular model lends itself to the depiction of an infinite continuum rather than the linear model on a fulcrum.
