HEAD COACH GEORGE "BUTCH" ESTES
Butch Estes was appointed head men's basketball coach at Palm Beach State in July, 2010. It marked the return to South Florida for the veteran coach. He was at Miami Dade and the University of Miami from 2003 to 2007. With the exception of 5 years in the television business, when he worked for Fox Sports Net, Estes has put in a total of 30 years into college coaching basketball. At every stop he has enjoyed great success. He has won several conference championships including last season's Southern Conference crown and has been named Coach of the Year 9 times. Along with his experience he brings an unusual amount of passion and enthusiasm to his job. He enjoys developing athletes into better players and students while also mentoring them in life skills.
Upon his acceptance of the job Estes said, "We are delighted to be back in South Florida. It's an area my wife and I love and we are particularly happy to be at Palm Beach State. It is one of the most renowned two year colleges in America. We have the resources and potential to have a highly successful program that can compete at the highest level nationally."

ASSISTANT COACH JUDSON STUBBS
Judson Stubbs is a graduate of Texas Christian University, Fort Worth Texas. He played basketball at Miami Dade College under Coach Estes and upon graduation matriculated to Texas Christian. Coach Stubbs has played professional basketball internationally and in the USA. He is oringinally from Nassau, Bahamas.
While at Miami Dade, Coach Stubbs was selected to the Southern Conference first team as he averaged 18.2 ppg, 9.1 rebounds, shot 58% from the floor and 77% from the free throw line. Stubbs graduate from Miami Dade with as AA degree and completed his B.S degree in communications from Texas Christian. He has played professional basketball in Argentina, Belize, Mexico, China, IBL and the CBA.

ASSISTANT COACH BRIAN MULLICAN
Often referred to as "Coach Mully", Mr. Mullican has spent 12 years coaching basketball with 8 of those years in the college ranks at Broome Community College in Binghamton New York and Palm Beach State in Lake Worth Florida. Along the way, Mully was fortunate enough to be a part of 6 conference championships and coached over 30 scholarship players, 25 of which signed NCAA Division I scholarships, and 11 of those players having played professionally. Palm Beach State's ascension from last in the conference to first this past season is a direct tribute to his recruiting ability. He has been responsible for bringing in the talented players that have turned the program around.
In his playing days, Mully was a member of the 1998-99 Broome Community College Conference Championship and regional finals team. Coach Mullican also played at NCAA Division II powerhouse, Pfeiffer University in Misenheimer NC.

ASSISTANT COACH MURRAY JONES
Coach Jones played college basketball at Eckerd College in St. Petersburg, Florida where he earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Management. Before that he attended Bishop Kenny High School in Jacksonville, Florida where he was a member of the 1983 district and regional championship teams.
His 16-year coaching career resume' includes 5 years in Dade County and 11 years in Broward County "Big 8" tournament runner-up and 2 regional semi-final appearances. He was named Broward County 5A/6A Coach of the Year for the 2003-2004 season.
Coach Jones is entering his second season as an assistant coach at Palm Beach State College. He played an intricate part in the success of the Panther's basketball program during the 2010-2011 season. As the Panthers anticipate building upon their success, Coach Jones will diligently continue his responsibilites of scouting, developing players and recruiting to help the Panthers reach their goals.
