
The Nursing Program at Palm Beach State is committed to providing the best education for students seeking an Associate of Science Degree (AS) in Nursing, effective Fall 2007. The exciting, new curriculum is designed to facilitate the care of clients within the parameters of the health care field in this, the new millennium. The conceptual framework is based on a holistic approach utilizing the Goal Attainment Theory of Imogene King coupled with the work of Barbara Dossey. Nursing Faculty create a learning environment through a team teaching methodology.

Upon graduation, students are awarded an associate of science degree and are eligible for the National Council Licensing Exam (NCLEX) to become a registered nurse (RN). Any individual with an arrest record is advised to seek counseling regarding possible limitations towards licensure prior to applying for entrance. This program is approved by the:
