HESI RN ADMISSION ASSESSMENT

The HESI Admission Assessment (A2) plus Critical Thinking Exam has 9 areas, and while each section provides a score and composite score (English composite score includes Reading Comprehension, Grammar and Vocabulary; Science composite score includes Biology, Chemistry, Anatomy & Physiology), it is the Cumulative Score (Reading Comp, Grammar, Vocabulary, Biology, Chemistry, A&P) that will be used.
A minimum score of 75 is required on this examination for direct inclusion into the applicant pool. A score of less than 75 on this examination will prohibit entrance for this period. It is recommended, but not required, that the applicant who scores below 75 on the HESI Admission Assessment Exam register for NUR 1024 - Critical Thinking in Nursing, in order to remediate for another attempt of the HESI Admission Assessment Exam.
