FEDERAL PELL GRANT
•Minimum award amount is $555/year •Maximum award amount is $5,550/year •Must be in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid •EFC and enrollment status determine award amounts* •You may not receive Pell Grant funds from more than one school during the same term •Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree
FEDERAL SUPPLEMENTAL EDUCATIONAL OPPORTUNITY GRANT (SEOG)**
•Minimum award amount is $200/year •Maximum award amount is $600/year •Must be in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours for each term. •Exceptional financial need as determined by your EFC and total family income •Must be eligible and receiving a full Pell Grant (EFC=ZERO) •SEOG Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree
FLORIDA STUDENT ASSISTANCE GRANT (FSAG)**
•Minimum award amount is $200/year •Maximum award amount is $1,500/year •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours (12 credits to receive the maximum award amount) by the end of add/drop of each 16 week Fall and Spring term*** •Must be a US Citizen and Florida resident •Minimum 2.0 cumulative G.P.A. •Must be A.A., A.S., or A.A.S. degree seeking •Financial need as determined by your EFC •Must be eligible for a Pell Grant •FSAG Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree •Returning students must meet renewal criteria as listed on the state website. PALM BEACH STATE GRANT
•Minimum award amount is $200/year •Maximum award amount is $1,800/year •Must be A.A., A.S., and A.A.S. degree seeking •Financial need as determined by your EFC and total family income •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours •Award amount will be prorated based on term enrollment*
FEDERAL WORK STUDY PROGRAM**
•Need based •Must be enrolled in a degree or certificate program that is financial aid approved •Earn money to help pay educational expenses •On campus jobs •Off campus community service jobs •Family literacy tutoring support program •Minimum $8.05/hr; average 20 hrs/wk •Build work schedule around class time
FEDERAL SUBSIDIZED DIRECT LOAN
•Maximum loan for a first year student is $3,500/year (0-23 credit hours earned). •Maximum loan for a second year student is $4,500/year (24+ credit hours earned). •Financial need as determined by EFC •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the requested loan period and at the time of disbursement. •Must be in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid. •Aggregate undergraduate maximum is $23,000. •Repayment begins 6 months after student drops below half-time enrollment (less than 6 credits).
Interest rate for loans disbursed between 7/1 /2010 and 6/30/2011 is 3.4% and will be paid by the U.S.Department of Education while you maintain at least half-time enrollment (6 hours).
PSAV GRANT
•Minimum award amount is $100/year •Maximum award amount is $1,200/year •Must be TC, VC, ATD certificate seeking •Financial need as determined by your EFC and Total Family income.

However, the actual amount of the award will be prorated based on term enrollment.
NON NEED BASED AID
FEDERAL UNSUBSIDIZED DIRECT LOAN
•Maximum loan amount for a first year student is $5,500/year (0-23 credit hours earned)* (includes subsidized eligibility). •Maximum loan amount for a second year student is $6,500/year (24+credit hours earned)* (includes subsidized elibibility). •Not based on financial need. •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the entire requested loan period and at the time of disbursement. •Must be in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid. •Student is responsible for interest which begins to accrue after the first disbursement at a rate of 6.8%. •Repayment begins 6 months after student drops below half-time enrollment (less than 6 credits).
* Independent and Dependent students whose parents have been denied a PLUS Loan may be eligible to borrow up to $4,000 over the maximum loan limits listed above.
FEDERAL PARENT LOAN FOR UNDERGRADUATE STUDENTS (PLUS)
•Undergraduate dependent students only. •Must be in a degree or certificate program that is approved for financial aid. •Not based on financial need. •Must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours during the entire requested loan period and at the time of disbursement. •Parent of dependent student is the borrower. •Borrower cannot have adverse credit history. •Limit = Cost of attendance per child minus (-) other financial aid awarded. •Repayment begins on date of disbursement •Interest rate is 7.9%.
