CLEP (College Level Examination Program) is available at the Belle Glade, Boca Raton, and Palm Beach Gardens campuses. CLEP is a series of examinations that allow individuals to earn college credit for what they know, regardless of where they gained knowledge. CLEP is the most widely accepted credit-by-examination program in the United States.
Two ID's (photo and signature) are required when taking a CLEP exam at a Palm Beach State test site. The primary form must be a government issued photo ID with signature, such as a passport, state issued driver's license, state issued ID card, tribal ID, naturalization card, or certificate of citizenship. The secondary form of ID must have a photo or signature, such as a social security card, student ID, credit card, or employee ID. Military candidates must submit a current military ID.
An individual will not be permitted to take the exam(s) without two acceptable photo ID's. There are no exceptions.
Palm Beach State students are required to see an Academic Advisor to determine if a CLEP exam is accepted for their area of study.
