Course Description
Prerequisite: Must meet placement requirements in mathematics, English, reading and writing to enroll in course. This course provides an introduction to principles of chemistry for students not needing an intensive course. It covers important concepts of general chemistry and progresses through elementary organic chemistry into certain areas of biochemistry. It includes chemistry relevant to health and the numerous chemical products in use today. A grade of C or higher is required for this course to be used as a General Education course.
