Course Description
Part 2 - This course is a continuation of ORO 0210 and designed to train operators to safely and effectively operate and maintain drinking water treatment plants. Information is presented on drinking water regulations, fluoridation, instrumentation and advanced lab procedures. Administrative procedures for dealing with budgeting, setting rates, recordkeeping, personnel administration, public relations, and emergency planning are also covered in this course. Part 1 and Part 2 are the prerequisite courses for taking the State's Class "C" Water Treatment License Exam.
