Course Description
What are some of the green initiatives available here in Florida? Do you want to build and design green buildings? Do you have a hotel pursuing a green lodging designation? This course is designed for individuals who have limited knowledge of green certification programs, green building programs, state programs for hotels, governments and homes. Participants will understand various green certification programs such as: The USGBC LEED and the Florida Green Building Coalition Rating Systems, the Florida Green Lodging Program, and the EPA's Energy Star Program. Participants will be able to identify and define multiple green initiatives. Learn a general understanding of Florida green initiatives and the many advantages.
