TIO0817   Environmental Landscape Management
Course Description
Completing this course will provide understanding of environmental concerns when working with professionals in designing landscapes as part of a construction project. Improving communications between building contractors and landscape professionals will assist with increasing profits. Learn about water and energy conservation, determining shade patterns, and selecting plants for maximum energy savings. This course is approved by the Florida Construction Industry Licensing Board (CILB) for licensed Contractors. It meets the requirements for 11 general or "other" training hours, one "business practice" hour, one "workmen's compensation" hour and one "workplace safety" hour towards the total of 14 hours of continuing education as required by the CILB.
