GEA1000 - Principles of Geography and Conservation (AA)

This course provides an introduction to world geography through a study of selected regions, with an emphasis on environmental and conservational problems. It examines the contemporary world through a geographical analysis of the historical, demographic, physical, economic, social, political, religious, cultural and ethnic characteristics of major countries and world regions. Prerequisite: Appropriate English and reading placement scores or course completion required to enroll in this General Education course.
