
PHY2048 - General Physics with Calculus 1 (AA)

Description:
Designed for students in engineering, science, and mathematics who have completed
Calculus with Analytic Geometry 1 (MAC2311). This course is a prerequisite for the
sequel PHY2049. Topics include vector algebra, kinematics, dynamics, energy and momentum,
fluids, and thermodynamics. In a lecture science course where there is a required
co-requisite lab, students may withdraw from the lab class, but stay in the lecture
class. (Students may also choose to withdraw from both). Students will not be allowed
to withdraw from the lecture and remain enrolled in the lab. (*)
Prerequisite: MAC2311 (with a grade of C or higher); Corequisite: PHY2048L (with
a grade of C or higher)
