General Foundation Scholarships

Alexander D’Angio Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to degree-seeking students. Student must be enrolled 9 or more credits and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Calloway and Family Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student must be paying in-state tuition rate. Preference to students that are African American. Financial need is considered. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Deansy and Dennis Gallon Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Preference will be given to students who have community/club involvement or volunteer work. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Dr. Robin K. Hoggins-Blake Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Student must be paying in-state tuition rate. Preference to Lake Worth Campus students. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Dream Makers Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study who are the first generation in college. Students must be a Florida resident. Students must be enrolled for 6 or more credit hours or equivalent clock hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Edward M. Eissey Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Student must be a Florida resident paying in-state tuition. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

First Generation in College Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who are the first generation in their family to attend college. Students must be a Florida resident. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA. This scholarship is awarded in the spring term through the Financial Aid Office.

Foundation General Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students who do not fit the traditional “need-based” criteria. Student must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Gallon Family Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Student must be paying in-state tuition. Preference will be given to students who have community/club involvement or volunteer work. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

John Turp Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is open to degree-seeking students. Students must be enrolled 9 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Preference to students of Finnish or Estonian heritage. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Julie Kime Hispanic Women Scholarship (established 2018 to 2023)
Julie Kime is a retired Hispanic business executive who built a lucrative career in the insurance sector.Mrs. Kime is committed to pass on her success by establishing the Julie Kime Hispanic Women Scholarship to support Hispanic women determined to accomplish their career goals.The Julie Kime Hispanic Women Scholarship requires a minimum 3.0 GPA and financial need as determined by FAFSA.This scholarship is available to full and part time students and awards each selected student up to $2,000 a year for tuition.

Kelly (Pop & Marg) Endowed Scholarship (Fund I and Fund II)
Thes scholarship are available to students at all campuses. In the Fall/Spring Terms, students must be enrolled in 6 or more credits (or equivalent clock hours) and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher (or meeting program requirements). In order to qualify for this scholarship, a student must have graduated from a public high school located in one of the following Florida counties: Broward County, Charlotte County, Collier County, Dade County, DeSoto County, Glades County, Hardee County, Hendry County, Lee County, Martin County, Monroe County, Okeechobee County or Palm Beach County. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

LaGranja Road to Success Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.8 or higher. Student must be paying in-state tuition rate. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Leal Scholars Program Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study who are first generation in college. Students must be enrolled 9 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.3 or higher. Preference will be given to Florida residents who are Hispanic. The donor would like to mentor the chosen recipient. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Leonard Hinckley Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled in 9 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.5 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Palm Beach State College Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled in 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA or 3.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Pirtle Construction Company Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Students must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Prime Time of Palm Beach County, Inc. Scholarship
This scholarship is available to management and frontline practitioners employed in a Palm Beach County afterschool program, who work with school age children, and are pursuing certificate and/or degree coursework in the youth development field. The youth development pathway includes classes that lead to a Bachelor’s Degree in Supervision and Management. Students can earn the Youth Development College Credit Certificate (30 college credits), or progress to the AS Degree in Human Services with a Youth Development Concentration, or pursue the Bachelor’s Degree. South Florida Fair Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 3.0 or higher. Residency preference for Palm Beach, Broward, Martin, Hendry or Okeechobee county. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

Virginia and Douglas Stewart Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study. Students must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA of 2.0 or higher. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.

The Illustrated Properties F.F. “Chappy” Adams, III Memorial Endowed Scholarship
Illustrated Properties president F.F. “Bud” Adams, Jr. announces the creation of the Illustrated Properties F.F. “Chappy” Adams, III Memorial Scholarship at Palm Beach State College. This scholarship is available to students - who are Palm Beach County Residents - who have the desire to become community leaders in Palm Beach County - who are enrolled in AA or AS or Post-Secondary Adult Vocational (PSAV) Certificate Programs at Palm Beach State College. Demonstration of financial need as determined by FAFSA is not required.  Chappy Adams, a lifelong resident of Palm Beach County, was from 1995 until 2013 the beloved entrepreneurial president of the region’s leading real estate brokerage firm that was founded in the 1930’s by his grandfather F.F. Adams, northern Palm Beach County and Jupiter Island property development pioneer. The PBC Teachers Association Memorial Endowed Scholarship
This scholarship is available to students in all areas of study with a preference to Education majors. Student must be enrolled 6 or more credit hours and have a GPA or 2.0 or higher. Student must be a Palm Beach County resident. Preference to students who graduated from Carver, JFK, Lake Shore and Roosevelt. Financial need is required. To be eligible, applicants must complete a FAFSA.
