Who We Are!

Welcome!  The Dr. Kathryn W. Davis Global Education Center at Palm Beach State College is funded through a grant from world affairs author, lecturer and philanthropist Dr. Kathryn W. Davis.

Our goal is to assist immigrants who register with the center to:

  • Provide information about educational programs or courses to learn English.
  • Provide referrals to community services and programs in Palm Beach County.
  • Design workshops that enable you to learn more about the U.S. culture.

COMPLETE THE "6 EASY STEPS TO ADMISSIONS"

PBSC offers a variety of short to long-term educational programs that are right for you.

  • Attended a foreign university before? 
  • Interested in completing your dDegree in the U.S?
  • Never attended college?
  • Need vocational or apprenticeship training?
  • Not sure but want a dDegree or certificate?

 

APPLY FOR SCHOLARSHIPS

Accepted Students at Palm Beach State College (PBSC) not eligible for federal student aid due to neither being a citizen nor an eligible noncitizen, should complete the Supplemental Scholarship Application for high achieving graduating high school seniors (with an unweighted GPA of 3.0 and above) and the Foundation scholarship application for additional scholarship opportunities.

WANT TO ENROLL IN NON-DDegree CLASSES

Students registering in either a Corporate & Continuing Education(CCE) class or want to register in English courses ONLY are required to first complete a non-credit application or a Corporate & Continuing Education application.

ATTEND INTEGRATION WORKSHOPS

We offer free workshops that enable our students to learn more about the U.S. culture. We currently offer these topics and will expand our offerings in the near future:

  • American History & Political System
  • Career Planning & Job Search
  • Citizenship Preparedness
  • What to Do and Not Do in the US Culture
  • Educational System & Programs

Summer Operating Hours

The College operates on a 4-day work week during the summer. All campuses are closed on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
