Building Up STEAM Initiative
The Building up STEAM initiative is a partnership among Palm Beach State College’s Institute of Excellence in Early Care and Education, South Florida Science Center and Aquarium, Young At Art Museum, and Broward and Palm Beach County school districts and education foundations. The project is made possible by the generous support of PNC Grow Up Great, a $350 million program dedicated to helping prepare America’s youngest children for great things and life.
The initiative provides professional development experiences for preschool teachers, museum field trips and special events for families, STEAM materials for classrooms and homes, STEAM Fairs, and much more.
We’re excited to invite you to make your own discoveries about STEAM through fun experiences that prompt learning, thinking, and creativity.
The Institute of Excellence in Early Care and Education is housed in the Count and
Countess de Hoernle Historic Building located on the campus of the School of the Arts
in West Palm Beach. (Map and Directions)
