Dr. Ginger L. Pedersen

Dr. Ginger Pedersen is the project sponsor and will lead the ERP Workday project along with the PBSC team and Sierra-Cedar. She brings 29 years of experience at Palm Beach State College including leadership positions in Institutional Research, Academic Affairs, and Information Technology. Dr. Pedersen is also a proud graduate of Palm Beach State College, as well as Florida Atlantic University and the University of Central Florida.She is a native Floridian and has authored several books on Palm Beach County history.

ERP Functional Manager, Associate Dean
Susan has 27 years of experience at Palm Beach State College. The majority of those years has been as Associate Dean at Lake Worth campus. During her years at the college, Susan has worked on bridging the gap for at risk students which included collaborating with advising, testing, career center, library and the student learning centers. Susan graduated from Palm Beach State (then Palm Beach Junior College) with her AA degree, her Bachelor’s in Business Administration from FAU, her Master’s in Health Services Administration from FIU, holds a graduate certificate in Community College Education from UCF, and a Developmental Education Specialist certificate from the Kellogg Institute at Appalachian State College. Susan is excited about Workday and what it will bring to our college community.
ERP Functional Manager, Workforce Program Specialist Recruitment
Alex began working for Palm Beach State College at the Boca Raton campus in Academic Advising as an Office Assistant in 2012. Although she graduated from the University of Florida with her B.S. in Recreation and Event Management, her passion for higher education sparked when she realized how much advisors and all areas of student services contribute to student success. After a year in advising, Alex began working in recruitment as a Workforce Program Specialist at the Lake Worth campus. Over the course of the next four years, connecting with prospective students and their parents in the community she grew up in became her niche at the college. Having the opportunity to motivate and encourage prospective students from all walks of life is why she loves her work. Alex looks forward to the challenge of helping implement the new ERP student system to continue to contribute to improving the experience for prospective and current students.
ERP Functional Manager, Student/Career Developer Advisor
Dawn has been working in higher education for over 25 years. Her experience includes career counseling, residence life and academic advising. She has been with Palm Beach State College for 13 years and has served as the Academic Advisement Manager in Lake Worth and Boca Raton, Interim Testing Center Manager, and Student/Career Development Advisor. She has also taught SLS1501 (Strategies for College Success) as an adjunct instructor. Dawn has a MS degree in Counseling & Psychological Services from the State University of New York at Oswego.
ERP Functional Manager, Associate Director Financial Aid
Barrie has been working in financial aid for over 25 years in various roles at institutions including public, private, large, small, competitive and non-competitive institutions. Barrie started her career at Columbia University and most recently worked at the College of Mount Saint Vincent as Director of Financial Aid/Chief Compliance Officer in New York City prior to joining Palm Beach State College in 2014. Her previous roles included Citibank Student Loans as a AVP for Florida & NY as well as implementing ERP systems at two institutions where her focus was on financial aid and enhancing the student experience. She attained her M.Ed at Lynn University and was also an adjunct professor at Lynn University.
ERP Training Coordinator
Cindy Franklin comes to us from Broward College where she developed job aids and videos for Workday Student and conducted training for Admissions prior to “Go-Live” in March 2016. She fell in love with mentoring and teaching and used her skills developing job aids as a customer service representative for a major health insurance company several years ago. She discovered she could help new hires succeed in their position by using her talent. It was through this discovery that Cindy was nominated by her peers for, "Customer Service Rep of the Year," two years in a row, and ended up landing a job as a Trainer. She has been a Trainer ever since! Palm Beach State College is fortunate to have Cindy creating training materials for our Workday implementation. She will give you the best preparation for success in Workday.
ERP Project Director and Finance Functional Manager
Pam Harrison is the ERP Project Director and Finance Lead. She has worked in the Finance Department here at Palm Beach State College for over 16 years. During that time she worked with many departments and people around the College on process improvements and data analytics. Prior to Palm Beach State she was at Indian River State College where she worked on the Finance system implementation. She obtained her BA from Marietta College (in Ohio), her MBA from Florida Atlantic University and holds a CPA license in the state of Florida. She’s looking forward to this new challenge.
ERP Functional Manager, Admissions Specialist
Rosanne has 10 years of service at Palm Beach State College having worked in the Recruitment and Dual Enrollment Department and the College Processing Center before assisting the Office of the College Registrar. In her spare time, Rosanne enjoys capturing photos of sunrises and sunsets at the beach with her family.
Systems Analyst and IT Technical Expert for Financial ERP
Diana Krause is a Senior Systems Analyst in Information Technology supporting financial applications. She has been with the College 17 years. Prior to PBSC, Diana worked in banking and the airline industry, on projects in which she implemented new ERP systems, and merged the financial applications of two banking enterprises. She obtained herMBA at FAU, and has taught Operations Management in the Bachelor's degree program at Palm Beach State College.
Systems Analyst and ERP Technical Project Assistant Director
John Johnson, an alumnus of Palm Beach State College, has over 30 years of IT Project Management and Systems and Software development experience. As a Vice President for Merrill Lynch, he managed major ERP and system deployments. As a result, John is a huge proponent of ITIL Framework and Change Management. Since 2013, John has been the Business and Systems Analyst for the Department of Labor Health Information Technology Grant, which will now spearhead the Dr. Dennis P. Gallon campus, the Manager and Lead Business Analyst of the IT ERP/ Applications PantherDocs and PantherPrint systems. John is a native New Yorker, married, has five College-educated children, and is an entrepreneur.
ERP Student Project Dir, College Registrar
Amy has over 20 years of experience working in Higher Education in Admissions, Registration, Student Records, Financial Aid and IT. She has worked with several ERP systems at multiple institutions where she has served as a departmental lead for ERP system functionality, implementation, and process improvement. She has also taught as an adjunct faculty member for over ten years.
Roz McFarlane McCalla

Roz, a PBSC alumna, has worked over 20 years in Academic and Student Services at Palm Beach State College.
Director, Enterprise Systems and ERP Integration Team Lead Director
Tracy Montagnino works in Information Technology as the Director of Enterprise Systems. She manages a team of analysts and programmers who maintain our current ERP system and the College's web site. She has over 17 years of experience at the college in various roles within IT. Prior to PBSC, Tracy held programming and analyst positions in the mortgage software industry. She attained her BS in Computer Science at FSU and is a native of West Palm Beach, FL.

Over 12 years of experience in managing complex, multi-million dollar projects on time, and under budget constraints. Extensive experience in assisting and advising executive stakeholders, and helping them plan their company’s technology needs with long term and short terms IT goals. Project management and Implementation experience, managing the entire SDLC, across Industry verticals, Higher Education Manufacturing, Public Sector, Financials, Commercial, Health care, Supply chain and Consulting.
Business Analyst Manager and ERP Business Process Architect & Test Manager
Julie has over 15 years of higher education experience having started her higher education career at FAU prior to coming to Palm Beach State College in 2002. Julie has held a number of progressively more responsible positions here at Palm Beach State College having started as a Financial Aid/Veteran’s Specialist before becoming the Financial Aid Coordinator for the Lake Worth Campus. She also served as the Acting Associate Director of Financial Aid prior to moving into IT as a Business Analyst in 2007. In 2013 Julie was promoted to IT Lead Systems Analyst managing the College’s Document Imaging System and college-wide Print Management. In 2015 Julie accepted the Business Analyst Manager position for the IT Applications group where she oversees IT Business Analyst staff and business process functions for HR, Payroll, Student Services, Financial Aid, and State Reporting.
ERP Functional Manager, Campus Registrar
Paula has worked for over 30 years in Admissions, Registration and Records, and was on the team that helped implement PantherNet at Palm Beach State College. She has spent the last 15 years as the Boca Raton Campus Registrar. Paula is a PBSC alumna and a graduate of Palm Beach Atlantic University.
Project Manager and ERP Functional Project Assistant Director
George Sullivan has provided project management expertise for Palm Beach State College for almost ten years. He will be providing project leadership for the functional areas as the college implements a new ERP system. George has received both Bachelor and Master degrees in music theory and has earned the PMP certification as a Project Management Professional. He has completed one year of post-graduate work at Florida State University in Humanities. In addition to musical pursuits, he enjoys photography, food, wine and travel.
ERP Reporting Manager
Suresh Wijetunga is the Reporting Manager for the ERP Workday Project. He has been with the College for over 13 years and has worked in the Finance Department as a Finance Information Analyst. Prior to PBSC, Suresh has worked as a software developer at Siemens ICN in Boca Raton, FL. He received his B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from FIU and FAU respectively.
ERP Data Integrity Specialist
Teresa has accumulated over 36 years of experience at Palm Beach State College in Admissions, Registration, Selected Admissions, Dual Enrollment, Residency, Payroll Entry, Purchase Requisition, Faculty Rosters, Class Scheduling, and Development of the Academic Calendar. Teresa received her Certificate in Graphic Design Technology – Web Design at PBSC. Teresa is an avid photographer who gravitates to landscapes and of course taking pictures of her three grandchildren.
