Testing

All Information and tracking on testing is kept in Team Dynamics.

Key Terms:

Unit Testing

In computer programming, unit testing is a software testing method by which individual units of source code, sets of one or more computer program modules together with associated control data, usage procedures, and operating procedures, are tested to determine whether they are fit for use. (Wikipedia)

End-To-End Testing

End-to-end testing is a methodology used to test whether the flow of an application is performing as designed from start to finish. The purpose of carrying out end-to-end tests is to identify system dependencies and to ensure that the right information is passed between various system components and systems. (Techopedia)

User Acceptance Testing

User acceptance testing (UAT) is the last phase of the software testing process. During UAT, actual software users test the software to make sure it can handle required tasks in real-world scenarios, according to specifications.

UAT is one of the final and critical software project procedures that must occur before newly developed software is rolled out to the market.

UAT is also known as beta testing, application testing or end user testing. (Techopedia)
