2021 Back to School PBC! Drive-Up Event

Registration ends Friday, June 4, 2021

A collaboration between Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization and the Belle Glade Campus this event will be held again at the Belle Glade Campus as a Drive-Up event to assist disadvantaged students, grades K-12, with FREE school supplies.

Please note:  Students must reside in designated neighborhoods or mobile home parks in unincorporated Palm Beach County to be eligible.

Stand Up: Be Counted & Hello Hygienics!

A collaboration between the Belle Glade Campus, Stand Up: Be Counted, Hello Hygienics and Philanthropy Tank this event was a drive-thru event to assist Glades area residents with voter registration and completing the 2020 Census.  Participants also received hygiene kits, PPE, and a free lunch that was provided by Tropical Smoothie Cafe.

Stand Up: Be Counted and Hello Hygienics are both high-school student led initiatives that received funding through Philanthropy Tank to assist in putting their ideas into action.

TechGarage

A collaboration between Palm Beach County Office of Community Revitalization and the Belle Glade Campus of Palm Beach State College this drive up/walk up event was held to serve over 1,500 Glades area students with the distribution of free back packs filled with school supplies, non-perishable food items and personal protection equipment during the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

This is an annual event, that was held at the Belle Glade Campus location for the first time in 2020.  Check our "upcoming events" section for news on the event for 2021.
