Overall Course Grade Distribution, 2016-17
'A' is the most commonly awarded grade at Palm Beach State, accounting for 35% of all credit and developmental education grades. About 14% of attempts resulted in a 'D', 'F' or 'N'. The overall withdrawal rate was about10%.
Credit classes generally reflect the above; grades in developmental education courses, however tend to be lower. Withdrawal rates were slightly higher in developmental education classes, and more than one-quarter of developmental attempts resulted in non-passing marks.
