I am currently the Associate Dean of Humanities at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth Campus. At Palm Beach State I teach a variety of visual arts courses. I received my Masters of Fine Arts in Painting and Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from Pratt Institute, Brooklyn, NY. As a fine artist who creates figurative works well as portraits, my work has been exhibited in numerous solo and group exhibits in a variety of gallery and museum settings.

In the field of graphic design I was Creative Director/Owner of Grant Associates, New York, NY for over 15 years. In that time I created graphic design, publications, promotional design and package design for corporations and companies such as Kraft General Foods, Nabisco Foods, The Museum of Broadcasting, Essence Magazine, State of New Jersey, Office of the Governor and many other corporate and non-profit organizations. Working with Kraft General Foods, we developed iconic packaging for Birds Eye Fruit for Baking and Country Time Lemonade.
