Dr. Chong serves as a full-time faculty member in the Bachelor's Degree Program and Advisor of the Phi Beta Lambda chapter . He is a blackboard certified instructor and is an active member of the BAS Advisory Board. 


Prior to joining Palm Beach State College, Dr. Chong spent 14 years in the finance and telecommunication industry serving in the areas of management and operation logistics. A noteworthy career endeavor has been his experience working for one of the largest and most innovative technology organizations, Apple Inc. Dr. Chong earned his Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Organizational Management from the College of Business at Indiana Tech and earned a Master of Science degree from the Catherine T. MacArthur School of Leadership at Palm Beach Atlantic University. He is a Professional Member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and attends annual conferences around the United States. He is also associated with FBLA-PBL serving as a competitive events judge for public speakingjob-interviewimpromptu speaking, and mobile innovation solutions competitions. An important element of his global mind-set has been the unique cross-cultural immersion into a variety of geographical locations around the world that include, but not limited to: Xi'anShanghai, and Beijing, China. IrelandWales, and England, The British Isles. Curacao, TheABC Islands. 

 

His research interests include multigenerational analytics, human capital development, employee engagement, job satisfaction, leadership empowerment, and innovation & cognition. Dr. Chong has a simple teaching philosophy:
