Fire Instructor (CCC)

Program Learning Outcome #1
Begin a training program by preparing mentally to instruct, by arranging the physical training environment, by greeting participants and establishing rapport, by getting the best from the first thirty minutes, by reviewing the agenda, and inviting feedback to the agenda.

Program Learning Outcome #2
Give presentations and lead discussions by knowing their group, organizing their presentations, watching their body language, adding visual aids and making smooth transitions.

Program Learning Outcome #3
Conclude and evaluate a training program by reviewing the program content, obtaining final questions and concerns, promoting self assessments, focusing on back-on-the-job applications, expressing final sentiments, and effectively evaluating the program.

Program Learning Outcome #4
Assess the need for training by recognizing the importance of assessment, identifying what information should be collected, comprehending how to collect necessary information, and being able to discuss options if there is no time to do a proper assessment.

Program Learning Outcome #5
Prepare effective lectures by demonstrating ways to gain the audience's interest, maximizing understanding and retention, involving participants during lectures, and reinforcing lectures.
