Kait Murphy, Administrative Assistant II, is the first friendly smile to greet you as you enter our reception area. She holds an A.A. degree in Business from PBSC and is currently working towards her Finance degree from FAU. Kait brings to our team an understanding of what it is to be a student of this college as well as 10 years of management and customer service experience. Margi Foley, Full-Time Instructor, is also a Graduate of the Palm Beach State College Massage Therapy Program, a Massage Therapist for 9 years before becoming a Florida Licensed Massage Therapist in 2005. As a Massage Lab and Clinic hands-on instructor, Margi's soft loving personality educates students step-by-step to develop their hands on clinic skills. Margi’s love for Massage Therapy is surpassed only by her talent for teaching in a way that truly connects with students. Email:


Mindy Yale, Full-Time Instructor, has been teaching anatomy and physiology, eastern modalities, and allied natural therapies since 1995 and has been a licensed Massage therapist since 1992. Her dedication to providing practical understanding and support to the professional development of her students is paramount. She implements different styles of teaching that are tailored to help different types of learners to succeed in a challenging field. Mindy's class will transform you like no other.  Email:


Jill Hagan, Adjunct Instructor, has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2005. Trained in West Palm Beach, Florida, she has a teaching background for many years in the education field, and has lived across the U.S. and in Costa Rica.  Jill teaches the first course of the Massage Therapy program, Health Care Concepts, introducing the health care profession to the new students. She enjoys sharing her enthusiasm about massage therapy as an occupation within the health care industry. You may also find her teaching the introduction to the Polo Lei style of Lomi-Lomi to licensed massage therapists for continuing education credits.  Email:


Simon Briscoe, Adjunct Instructor, was introduced to massage therapy in 1997. He became completely absorbed in finding out how best to release muscles that had become dysfunctional and decided to study clinical and orthopedic massage therapy. Simon believes that when you choose the right direction, the right people come into your life to study with. He found that by combining many different techniques from different disciplines in a comprehensive protocol, the causes of people’s pain and discomfort could be reduced or eliminated. He feels privileged to introduce this same work to students in the Massage Therapy program at PBSC. Rachel Speranza, Adjunct Instructor, spreads the true message of aromatherapy in the hopes to integrate the powerful experience that the combination of essential oils and massage can yield. She has been licensed since 2003, and specializes in Aromatherapy, Native American Stone Massage, intuitive healing and bodywork, and Reflexology. Rachel is a Certified Pediatric Massage Therapist, and Certified Rainbow Kids Yoga Teacher and hopes to offer children a union of nurturing touch with that of a yoga practice that focuses on fun, co-creation, and togetherness.  Also, she inspires future Massage Therapists to stretch their imagination and take massage therapy out of the treatment room, and into volunteer fieldwork like "Pampering with Purpose," Emergency Response Massage Therapists, international medical missions, and nurturing touch global outreach for children. Her volunteer endeavors have taken her to the Mississippi Gulf Coast after Hurricane Katrina, and Tibet to aid a doctor's group working with Kasin-Beck syndrome and pediatric work with Little Kidz Foundation.  Email:


Lisa Sterman, Adjunct Instructor, comes to us with a long history as an educator in a variety of subjects. Anatomy and Physiology, Pathology, Professional Development, Hydrotherapy, Trigger Point Therapy, Structural Integration, Swedish Massage, Reflexology, Sports Massage, Myokinetics, Functional Assessment, Hydrostone, Kinesiology, (Advanced Master Program), Trager, Advanced Neuromuscular, Resistive Release, Myofascial Release, Active Isolated Stretching as well as general education.  Students love Lisa's teaching style and her fun way of making information easy to understand.  Email:


Bodhi Da Silva, Adjunct Instructor, offers a unique massage experience as he shares with us his specialty of Thai Massage. Bodhi started his teaching career with PBSC in the year 2000; the first year the Massage Therapy Program began. Bodhi is additionally part of the Hippocrates Health Institute family where he shares his healing touch with people who face life threatening health challenges. Bodhi spreads his knowledge and love throughout the world offering Thai Certification courses.   Bodhi's approach is truthful, direct, and genuine. He supports you in properly utilizing authentic Thai technique while encouraging you to be true to who you are. 


Lisa Moran (Lee), Adjunct Instructor, graduated from Palm Beach State College's Massage Therapy Program and has been licensed since 2011.  She comes to us with a BA in Psychology and incorporates her background in mental health with Mind/Body/Spirit integrative massage therapy in the hospice field. In addition to hospice patients, Lee has a private practice of individual and corporate clients. She enjoys "paying forward" the transformative education that was lovingly provided by the highest quality instructors and massage therapy program. Email:


Leslie David, Adjunct Instructor, received her Massage Therapy License in 2014 after graduating from the Palm Beach State College Massage Therapy Program where she then began her career at the Breaker Resort Spa. Leslie is passionate about Health and Wellness; and implements her passion by teaching Pilates, Yoga, and Dance. She believes massage is not just a science but also an art that can heal the body, mind, and spirit. Leslie also has a BA in Fine Arts and an Advanced NCTMB certificate.  Email:
