The Paralegal program at Palm Beach State College can be your entry to a fascinating career where opportunities are plentiful. Educated and well-trained legal assistants are in demand at law firms, corporations, banks, real estate agencies, insurance companies and governmental agencies. As a paralegal you will help attorneys deliver a variety of legal services including:
- Preparing legal documents
- Conducting legal research
- Locating and interviewing witnesses
- Gathering evidence
- Assisting the attorney during the litigation process
Our program leads to an associate in science degree and qualifies you to sit for the national two-day exam to become a certified paralegal through The National Association of Legal Assistants.
