A quality enhancement plan, QEP, is a plan to improve student learning.  Our QEP will focus on critical thinking. 

WHY is this important?

	Having a QEP is important because a QEP is required for the College to remain accredited. Without accreditation, earned credits would not transfer to other accredited insitutions, and students would become ineligible for federal financial aid.
	A focus on critical thinking is important because the research says college graduates have weak critical thinking skills. A QEP focus on critical thinking gives Palm Beach State a way to help students improve these skills.
