Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) courses, a valued component of Palm Beach State College's academic offerings, provide professional training, seminars, workshops, short courses, customized training and conferences. Some of these instructions award continuing education units (CEUs) for achieving or maintaining certification and/or licenses.
State legislation passed this year requires colleges to ensure that their CCE courses are self-supporting through fees. While this change is being developed, we are also taking this opportunity to review and strengthen programming and increase cost-effectiveness. The College is developing a new CCE fee structure, to be implemented for the Fall 2010 term. A CCE schedule will not be printed for the Fall term, but we will use a variety of other methods to inform the public about our courses.
