Scholarships: Serving the needs of future professionals

The Palm Beach State College Foundation supports students through scholarships. For specific scholarship criteria and eligibility requirements established by our generous donors, view the list of Foundation scholarships below. It contains a brief description of the scholarship's purpose and the major criteria used to determine the scholarship receipient. We encourage students to use it as a reference to ensure that scholarship requirements are met. Remember, maintaining a scholarship is as important as applying for one. Scholarship information is subject to change without notice.

Dear Students:

Graduating Sophomore Scholarships

The Graduating Sophomore Scholarship Application closed on Tuesday, April 3^rd. Applications are being reviewed by the Scholarship Selection Committee and students will be notified by mail before graduation if they were selected to receive a scholarship.

Summer Term 2012 Scholarships

Students attending the summer term can complete the Summer Term Scholarship Application from Monday, April 23 at 9:00am through Thursday, May 10 at 4:00pm. To qualify students must be registered 6 or more credit hours (or clock hour equivalency), have a GPA of 2.5 or higher (or equivalency) and have on file in the Financial Aid Office the completed 2011-12 FAFSA. Students must have financial need.

The majority of foundation scholarships require students to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and have financial need. We encourage all students to complete the 2011-12 FAFSA online at www.fafsa.ed.gov

All Scholarship Applications are reviewed by a committee established by the Foundation. Students will be notified by mail if selected to receive a scholarship. Once you have received notification by mail of your scholarship award, you will be asked to write a "Letter of Gratitude" to the donor. Instructions will be included with your scholarship award letter.
