Janay Borum #1

1 - Janay Borum

5-2, G, Soph- Upper Marlboro, MD

Transfer from College of Central Florida- First Team Mid-Florida Conference 

Janay is a true point guard. She has the speed and quickness that will cause problems for the opposing players. she sees the floor extremely well and has taken on a leadership role on the team (Div. 1 prospect)

Kayla Dayton #10

10 - Kayla Dayton

5-10, PG, Soph, Monroe, NC

Transfer from Georgia Southern University 

Kayla is a natural at the point guard slot. She has a great head for the game and shoots the ball well. She has great size for a point guard and has a high basketball IQ. Great fundamental skill set. (Div. I prosepct)

Morgan Brisson #12

 

12 - Morgan Brisson

6-0, Post, Frosh- Inverness, FL

Morgan is a natural athlete. She shoots the ball well from the perimeter and although undersized in the post she has a toughness about her that will serve her well. Her best basketball is ahead of her.

McKenzie Brisson #15

15 - McKenzie Brisson

6-0, Wing, Frosh, Inverness, FL

Kenzie, like her sister, is a gifted athlete. She has great size to be on the perimeter and shoots the ball well. She is a good rebounding guard who will only get better as the season progresses.

Keonia Parrish #20

20 - Keonia Parrish

5-7, PG/W, Frosh- Winter Haven, FL 

KP comes from a traditionally rich high school program and that will make her transition to the college game much easier. She is a tremendous athlete and quite possible the quickest and fastest on the team. She has been working hard in the pre-season and will have a great career at Palm Beach State.

LaQuandra Brazil #21

21 - LaQuandra Brazil

6-0 Post, Frosh- Boynton Beach, FL

Q has been a pleasant surprise in the pre-season. She has a solid fundamental skill set and plays bigger than she is. She steps out adn shoots the ball with range and can put it on the floor as well. LaQuandra is very vocal on the court. 

 

Mechel-La Ward #22

22 - Mechel-La Ward

6-2, Post, Soph 

Transfer from Indian River- First Team- Southern Conference

Me Me has a tremendous skill set. She finishes with both hands and is an all around athlete. She runs the floor hard and is a true competitor. She is an impact player in this program and has a great future ahead of her. (Div. I prospect).

 Erica Cooper #23

23 - Erica Cooper

5-3, Wing, Frosh- Winter Haven, FL

Erica hails from Winter Haven and was named the Class 5A girls Player of the Year by Florida Athletic Coaches Association. She possesses great speed and quickness and is a pure shooter. When she is on the floor- good things happen. Her potential is limitless

 

 Jermisha McRae #24

24 - Jermisha McRae

5-8, Wing, Soph- New Smyrna Beach, FL 

Transfer from Indian River- Second Team - Southern Conference

J comes to compete everyday. She has a business like approach to the game. She is a great rebounding guard and elevates the intensity level at practice. (D-I prospect).

 Courtney Combs #25

25 - Courtney Combs

5-10, Wing, Frosh- Tallahassee, FL 

Courtney has a great head for the game. She works as hard as anyone on the floor and shoots the ball well. Solid fundamental skill set. She has tremendous upside and her best basketball is ahead of her.

 Sharneka McCatty #32

32 - Sharneka McCatty

5-10, Post, Frosh- West Palm Beach, FL 

Neka is a strong player. She moves people around on the interior and takes advantage of her strength. She has a nice touch from the perimeter and her overall game will improve as the season progresses.

 Jalisa Gandy #34

34 - Jalisa Gandy

5-11, Post, Frosh- West Palm Beach, FL 

Lee-Lee is a superb athlete. She has a knack for always being around the ball. Her speed and quickness will serve her and the program well. She picks up things quickly and will only get better with experience.

 Jodi-Ann Hanson

 35- Jodi-Ann Hanson

6-5, Post, Frosh- Kingston, Jamaica

Jodi has the chance to be a difference maker in the program. She needs to get acclimated to the American style of basketball but once she does, her potential is unlimited. She will greatly benefit from the daily work that she is getting.
