Program Description This college credit certificate program is designed to prepare the student for entry-level employment in business.

Course content prepares the student to become proficient in the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of a business, including organizational and human aspects, with emphasis on various theories of management, the knowledge and understanding necessary for managing economic resources, and decision making. Emphasis is given to the ownership of small business enterprises. It also provides supplemental training for persons previously or currently operating or owning a small business.
Employment Opportunities This program is designed to prepare the student for mid-management positions in a variety of business environments or to provide supplemental training for persons previously or currently employed in management occupations.
Career Path Notes Credits earned in this certificate program will transfer into the Business Administration & Management College Credit Certificate and the Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) degree in Business Administration and Management.
