Welcome! The Dr. Kathryn W. Davis Global Education Center at Palm Beach State College
is funded through a grant from world affairs author, lecturer and philanthropist Dr. Kathryn W. Davis.
Our goal is to assist immigrants who register with the center to:
• Provide information about educational programs or courses to learn English.
• Provide referrals to community services and programs in Palm Beach County.
• Design workshops that enable you to learn more about the U.S. culture.
Registration
Interested students can register online or visit our office during normal hours of operation.
Students registering in an educational program including English courses are required to meet with an academic advisor. The advisor will conduct an educational, social and financial assessment and will work with you to provide guidance, information on determining appropriate steps in order to meet the goals of your personal action plan.
Educational Assistance
PBSC offers a variety of short to long-term educational programs and courses to prepare you for a job, career or ownership of a business. To view offerings, visit the Continuing Education web pages.
Whether you have attended a foreign university and are interested in completing your education in the U.S.; have never attended college and would like to start, need vocational or apprenticeship training, or simply have an interest in learning a new skill or language, Palm Beach State has a program to suit your needs. We offer free workshops that enable our students to learn more about the U.S. culture. We currently offer these topics and will expand our offerings in the near future:

The College operates on a 4-day work week during the summer. All campuses are closed
