PBSC is hosting a Benefits Fair during Open Enrollment to help employees prepare and make informed decisions about their benefits. Employees will have the opportunity to meet with vendors, ask questions, and learn more about:
- Medical, Dental, Vision and Prescription Plans
- Flexible Spending Accounts
- Insurance options, including Life, Disability, Hospitalization, Cancer, and Accident coverage.
- Florida Retirement System (FRS)
- Voluntary Retirement
- And more!
Remember to bring your Employee ID to check-in. Refreshments will be provided.

Passive enrollment: Current elections will rollover into 2027
Open enrollment is your opportunity to make changes to your current benefits. Unless you make changes, your current benefits will roll over and remain the same for 2027 including flexible spending accounts (FSA) and health savings accounts (HSA).
Note: The Benefits Team will be holding webinars beginning the week of October 12, 2026. Dates and links coming soon.
People First Plan Updates for 2027
- Medical: No plan or rate changes to Standard HMO and PPO plans
- High Deductible Health Plans deductible is increased; rates remain the same
- Dental: No plan changes, increased rates for Ameritas Preventive (4023) and Standard (4022) only.
- Vision: No changes to plans or rates
- Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA): elections will rollover
- IRS has not released 2027 limits
- Health Savings Accounts (HSA): elections will rollover
- Maximum yearly contributions increased: $4,500 for individual and $9,000 for family
- These maximum amounts include the funding provided by the College in the amounts of $500 for indivdual and $1,000 for family.
- Ancillary insurance coverages:
- Short-term disability: no changes to plan or rates
- Additional life insurances: no changes to plan or rates
- Hospital, Cancer, Intensive Care: no changes to plan or rates

You will receive an open enrollment task in Workday in October 12, 2026, for the College's legal plan through LegalShield.
