RiSE Professional Development Day will look a little different this year!
Instead of traditional breakout sessions, the pre-lunch schedule will feature an interactive expo highlighting the expertise, programs, services and interests of our college community.
Expo Details
The Development Day Committee invites individuals, departments, programs, and vendors to contribute to our development in one of two formats:
1. Mini-Stage Presentations
Deliver a brief presentation to share an idea, strategy, program, innovation, or topic of interest with small groups of Expo attendees.
- Internal presenters only
- 15-minute presentations (Limit 9)
- Includes a lectern and a microphone only.
Presentation topics may include, but are not limited to:
- Team Building
- Collaboration
- Student Success
- Engagement Strategies
- 4DX Success Stories
- Teaching and Learning Strategies
- Departmental or Discipline-Specific Best Practices
- Technology and Innovation
- Leadership
- Health and Wellness
- Career and Professional Development
- Process Improvement
- Personal Growth
- Panther Excellence
2. Table Exhibits
Host a table to share information, resources, demonstrations, posters, or interactive
materials with Expo attendees as they move through the concourse.
- Appropriate for departments, programs, external vendors, and individual participants.
- 45-minute allotted table time (40 tables available)
- Includes one six foot table, two chairs and a tablecloth.
- Electrical connections are available with advance request.

Proposal Information
Submission deadline is September 8. The committee will announce presentation approvals by September 25.
