Authorizations
Palm Beach State College is a member of the Florida College System (FCS) and has degree-granting authority from the State of Florida as outlined in the Florida Constitution Article IX Section 8.

Professional Licensure Disclosure Statement
Palm Beach State College is a participant in the National Council for State Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA), which allows us to offer distance education programs to students in other NC-SARA member states.

Our programs that lead to professional licensure or certification are designed to meet the educational requirements in the state of Florida. However, licensure requirements vary by state, and completion of our programs may not automatically qualify a graduate to obtain licensure in other states.

Unless otherwise noted, all PBSC degree programs that lead to professional licensure or certification are designed to meet the educational requirements for licensure only in the state of Florida.

Students planning to seek licensure in a state other than Florida should consult the appropriate licensing authority in that state to confirm whether the program meets local requirements.

Please note that licensure requirements may include additional criteria beyond educational requirements, such as examinations, background checks, or work experience. It is the student’s responsibility to verify the licensure requirements in the state where they intend to practice.

For additional guidance, refer to NC-SARA’s resources on professional licensure disclosures: https://www.nc-sara.org/resources/professional-licensure
